A Message from the State President
Registration deadline for the 2010 Young Farmers of Virginia Convention is Friday, January 15th!
This is the Virginia's 60th annual State convention. It will be January 29-31 in Colonial Heights/Petersburg. The area is rich in Civil War history. We will be touring Pamplin Historical Park and getting a look at agriculture in that period and how it was affected by the war. We also will tour the Agriculture Department at VSU. I invite everyone to the convention to catch up with old friends, maybe make new friendships, take part in tours and contests, enjoy some good food and celebrate our 60th anniversary!
To download a registration form, and for more information visit: http://www.vayoungfarmer.org/events/index.html
It would be great to have a nice representation of the Rockbridge Association in attendance.
Kindly,
Jon McDonald
President
